Full members of the British Egg Products Association (BEPA), who represent around two thirds of the egg products process in the UK, subscribe to the Lion Quality scheme and abide by a Code of Practice which sets out very strict hygiene standards to ensure the highest standards of food safety and product quality. The Code is symbolised by the Lion Quality mark the same symbol used in the shell egg sector.
